3 New GCH Kids!
Today, GCH had the wonderful privilege, once again, of welcoming 3 new children into our family! They are Francis (girl, age 8 - in the middle), Isaac (boy, age 6 - on the left), & Jacobo (boy, age 5 - on the right). It's always a VERY exciting moment for all of us (our kids get excited too!). When kids come to GCH, we all rush to meet our newest family members with joy & enthusiasm. Unfortunately, they have been so poorly treated in their past that they are frightened, ill, mal-nourished & in crisis. Notice in the photo their concerned looks & symptoms of neglect.
So we quickly get to meeting the most urgent needs (food, adequate clothing, love, etc). And then we begin to see them relax & even begin to laugh. By the end of the day, all 3 were playing, eating well, making new friends, and exploring their new home.
Over the next few weeks we will see the miracle happen... they will become happy, joyful children who feel safe, loved & secure. And they will learn about Jesus!
Please keep these 3 precious children in your prayers... they're worth it!

What a joy to have been a part of that day when Francis, Isaac and Jacobo arrived. They were anxious to enter an unfamiliar place but it was awesome to see them warm up, Francis almost immediately when they realized the loving environment they were entering into. All three seemed much more at ease and enjoying their new family by the time we left on Friday just days after moving in!
I am excited that they are in a loving and God honoring place like GCH. They are fortunate to be there.
